Haley Elementary, an A+ School of Excellence, was established in 2007 and is proudly named after a former student in the Chandler Unified School District. Haley Elementary is the only school in the state of Arizona named after a student. Haley Knutsen was diagnosed with leukemia the day before her second birthday. She would battle this illness the rest of her young life. Our community was mobilized in an unprecedented fashion as they learned of Haley's seven year fight to defeat Leukemia.

She inspired all of us with her courage and strength. She brought out the generosity and compassion in all of us and taught everyone an important lesson about life's priorities.

Our mission and vision at Haley Elementary clearly sets high standards for the school community and we believe it is our responsibility to provide whatever support necessary for student success not only academically but socially and emotionally. As a school we are committed to Haley's legacy.

Everyday, when students walk through the doors of Haley Elementary, they are entering an environment rich in tradition, set up for success and support and filled with opportunities for students to excel so they can be their personal best. Haley Elementary is a place where students love to learn and grow together!
